Mays was simply the greatest all-around player there ever has been.

Going to correct the caller - Mays missed TWO full seasons because of military service - '52 and '53 after winning rookie of the year and leading the Giants to the WS in '51. The year he came back, '54, he was the NL MVP and led the Giants to the WS Championship.

This exactly right, we not that far off. The main issue was our play against top teams. We lost majority. We need a scoring punch opposite of Curry. The good teams blitz him and make the others beat them. We have no one other, that can take advantage. We wanted it to be Wigs but thats not his game. Klay is done. We need one elite scorer, and a big to throw some size at reat of teams.

Fitz is so wrong it’s not even funny. Every team that isn’t the Boston Celtics are gonna try to get better. Memphis will be back healthy. In the west, OKC, Denver, Minnesota, Clippers, lakers, Mavs, Pelicans, Grizzlies, Suns, Kings, Rockets, Spurs….all teams that will compete for 8 playoffs spots and only 6 will avoid the playoffs in. If the warriors run it back with a very good Steph curry but older, a declining Klay Thompson and an unreliable Draymond green, I’m not sure they make the Play in this time around. So Fitz just doesn’t know what he is talking about.

YALLL NEED TO OPEN UP THOSE COMMENTS ON THOSE KLAY VIDEOS YOU MADE ON THE WEEKEND. They should have NEVER given DRAYMOND the money they gave him….he was NEVER worth $100 million over 4 years, in his mid 30’s. Warriors put themselves in a bind with Klay, when they gave Green that contract….Klay HAS DELIVERED 4 CHAMPIONSHIPS….the Warriors couldn’t make the playoffs without him. So that’s why he’s worth his contract. Restructure Curry’s contract. Klay would have probably taken a pay cut if Draymond wouldn’t have opened his big mouth, but he can’t help him self. The Warriors COULD NOT make the playoffs without Klay, you don’t have a choice but to pay him. And get Steph to restructure…..that’s all you can do….but you CANT KEEP DRAYMOND….AND NOT PAY KLAY. Y’all are KRAZY to think Klay isn’t as good as he once was….HE WAS NOT THAT BAD LAST YEAR! Y’all are ungrateful he literally is the 2nd best shooter in the history of the NBA! Why can't the young players improve to a place where they can help carry the team? Curry, Thompson, and Green had to grow into what they are. When it comes to the current team, emotions have to be removed. Thompson isn't worth what he wants. They never should have extended Draymond. Curry is still playing at a high level, but for how long? The rebuild must start at some point. In order to rebuild, you must destroy. Curry, Draymond, and the young players need to be the focus. Even with Klay, the team isn't a contender. Time to transition.

Bob didn’t mention either Wiggins or Kevon Looney which means both of them are very likely to be traded. Both of them stunk and their performance dropped dramatically for unknown reasons. Somehow I’m under the impression that both of them are gang of Jordan Poole and they don’t want to play for Warriors after Poole is expelled although they are both economically guaranteed by the Warriors for a few years. I have been supporting Wiggins throughout the whole season, hoping he could become the all-star Wiggins again. But he stunk to the end.

I was a young kid in the late 80's, who had his tonsils taken out. When i returned home, in the mailbox was Willie's autograph I had requested of him by mail. Rip Willie Mays.

1954 he has the greatest catch of all time. 1961 he hits 4 homers in one game. The tribute from Jon Miller (our Mark Twain of baseball) is legendary already.
